Our next overnighter trip is Oct 21-22 on the Toccoa River, NC.  This is a class I-II+ rocky WW river, however we take 14′ kayaks on it with no problem, as long as they can take the rocks. Do bring a helmet.  You are expected to carry all of your food and shelter in your own boat. If you can backpack, you can do it!  You can carry or filter/purify your water.  If there is not enough water, we will have a substitute river, so don’t put your gear away!  I will be sending out an instructional email in a week or two, so if your name is not on the list of people who have given me their emails and are interested in going, call me at 423 400-2590.
