This annual event with the NERA club has been on the Coosawattee, and Section 2 of the Oostanaula River last year.  This year will be on Section 1 on the Oostanaula River near Calhoun GA.  We’ll run shuttle and put on for the  nine mile easy Class 1 (current and obstacles) paddle of about 3.5 hours.  We’ll then take out at a private ramp for a BBQ with live music.

We’ll be the guests of the NERA club led by David Grant. $5 for the BBQ at the chow line. This is an easy 5 mile round trip Flatwater paddle down to the power lines to see the Ospreys.  On the way back to the put in we’ll stop at the Steve’s Landing Marina Restaurant for a leisurely lunch.  It’s a three hour trip including an hour for lunch.     If interested email  Eric Fleming (598eric@gmail.com ) no later than 4 pm, Thursday, April 26th and check your email that night for details.
