Approximately 100 TVCC members turned out on December 9th for the annual Christmas Party where good food and good times were had by all.

In addition to the check presentation to Team River Runner, Mike Shillinger presented the recent award from American Canoe Association.   The Stroke Of Achievement Award is presented to one or more ACA Affiliated Clubs each year for superior performance and program development.  TVCC was awarded this honor for 2017 out of the hundreds of clubs affiliated with ACA.

Founded in 1880, The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling; stewardship support to help protect paddling environments; and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition, exploration and recreation.
