11th ROLL PRACTICE

EVENT:

Roll Practice #11 for 2022 is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23th from 7:45 – 9:45 pm. Practices are held weekly at the Ooltewah Swim Center, 6849 Mountain View Rd, Ooltewah, TN 37363. Boats will need to be clean before taking them into the pool. A hose is available for cleaning. You must wear a PFD and a helmet.
If you are a current TVCC member, register online at tvccpaddler.com on the events page. There is a $5 registration fee, payable online. TVCC members may bring a guest. Due to the new membership system, guests must print and sign a hard copy of the waiver, including full contact information and an emergency contact (name, phone). Contact the Trip Leader to ascertain that space is available. Bring the waiver and the $5 fee to the pool. Volunteer instructors will not be charged a fee. Please contact the Trip Leader for volunteer reservations. 
Ooltewah Swim Center provides a six lane 25 meter heated pool under a retractable dome. It provides a protected and warm environment on winter days and cool springtime evenings.

Winter roll practice is back. Winter roll practice will be held weekly on Tuesdays at the Ooltewah Swim Center from 8:00pm-9:30pm. The first roll practice will be on November 1. Maximum occupancy will be 30 boats in the pool. Each session is $5. Roll practice is open to all club members in good standing. If you are not a member, you will be allowed to attend one time as a non-member. After that, you must register as a member. Membership is $30 for a individual/family membership and $5 for each additional family member. You can become a member by clicking here. Please read the information below.

 

  1. DO NOT arrive at the pool any sooner than 7:45pm. This allows time for parents to safely pick up their kids after swim practice.
  2. DO NOT park next to the fence if you arrive early. These spots are reserved for parents picking up their kids.
  3. DO NOT drive on the grass. The entrance to the parking lot is paved now, but the parking lot itself is still gravel. Cones will be placed next to the grass.
  4. You MUST pre-register online. NO EXCEPTIONS. Cash payments and walk-ons will not be accepted. Check in as soon as you arrive at the pool.
  5. Volunteers do not need to register or pay. If you wish to volunteer, please contact me.
  6. All boats must be rinsed off before getting in the pool. The hose will be extended into the pool to verify all boats are clean.
  7. You MUST wear a helmet and PFD if you are in your boat.
  8. If all the kids are out of the pool before 8:00pm, we may get in earlier. Otherwise, the earliest we may get in the water is 8:00.

  1. DO NOT arrive at the pool any sooner than 7:45pm. This allows time for parents to safely pick up their kids after swim practice.
  2. DO NOT park next to the fence if you arrive early. These spots are reserved for parents picking up their kids.
  3. DO NOT drive on the grass. The entrance to the parking lot is paved now, but the parking lot itself is still gravel. Cones will be placed next to the grass.
  4. You MUST pre-register online. NO EXCEPTIONS. Cash payments and walk-ons will not be accepted. Check in as soon as you arrive at the pool.
  5. Volunteers do not need to register or pay. If you wish to volunteer, please contact me.
  6. All boats must be rinsed off before getting in the pool. The hose will be extended into the pool to verify all boats are clean.
