It’s time to sign up for the 2017 Ocoee River Race, scheduled for October 14th to raise money for Team River Runner.  The race course is from the put in eddy of the middle Ocoee to below Powerhouse Rapid.    Racers may participate in up to two classes and at least three entries in each class are required in order to win prizes, but anyone can race for time.   The party will continue on at The Bus Bar at Adventures Unlimited after the race.  You must be a member of TVCC to participate in the Ocoee Race, unless you are racing a raft.   Join TVCCRegister to Race!Register to Race (Rafts)!Register to Volunteer!

Classes include Women and Men’s Shortboat (9 feet and less):  Women and Men’s Longboat (9’1″ or longer); Elite Men’s Shortboat; Women and Men’s Elite Longboat.  There will also be classes for SUP, Handpaddle, tandem, raft and OC1.  Race Details for All Paddlers at https://tvccpaddler.com/annual-ocoee-river-race/

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
9:00-10:30 Registration and number pick up at the upper parking lot at the middle put in.
10:30 Safety meeting, updated race information will be provided.  Mandatory for all paddlers.
11:00 Racing begins

** Team River Runner After Party will begin at the Bus Bar at 6:00pm following the race.

Volunteer Details & Registration

8:00 – 8:30 Volunteers report to parking area above middle Ocoee put in (you will be directed to exact time prior to race).  Volunteers are need to help with safety: everything from throw ropes to live bait will be needed.
