Sponsored by the Nantahala Outdoor Center, the ACA’s 2017 National Paddlesports Conference is fast approaching. Held in Wesser, North Carolina at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, this year’s event runs from October 18th – 22nd and includes a number of courses and levels of instruction. These include, but aren’t limited to:
Level 3: Coastal SUP Instructor Certification Workshop
Level 3: Surf SUP Instructor Certification Workshop
Level 3: Whitewater SUP Instructor Certification Workshop
Level 4: Whitewater Rafting – Paddle and Oar Instructor Certification Workshop
Adaptive Paddling Workshop
Attendees will also get to attend the International Whitewater Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and the Southeastern Downriver Championships! Join the NOC as we host the oldest whitewater race in the Southeast! Following the ACA National Paddlesports Conference, racers of all ages and boat types will race from the put-in at Wayah Road to the Founders Bridge at the NOC.
The ACA provides a range of recreational opportunities and has been established as one of the premier standards of paddlesports safety and education. As part of the ACA’s leadership role in the paddlesports community, we have initiated this conference to target all facets of the paddlesports community.
