In consideration of the Tennessee Valley Canoe Club sponsoring the 10th Annual Ocoee River Race to be held on October 13, 2018 on the Ocoee River, the undersigned hereby assumes all risks of injury or loss of life to himself/herself and loss of or damage to property arising out of his/her participation in such race, and releases the Tennessee Valley Canoe Club, all officers, members, agents, and employees sponsoring the race from all liability as to any right of action that may accrue either to the undersigned or to their heirs or personal representative for any such injury, loss of or damage to property which he or she may suffer in such race from any cause whatsoever. The undersigned also certifies that they are aware of the dangers of participating in paddling in the rapids of the Ocoee River, that they are an able swimmer and will wear a Coast Guard approved PFD at all times. Entrants under 18 years of age must have the TVCC Ocoee Race Waiver agreement signed by themselves and their parent or guardian at race day registration check-in.
