The Jekyll Island Easter Weekend overnighter trip is right around the corner and hopefully camp sites are still available if you haven’t made your reservations yet.

We will camp three nights at the Jekyll Island Campground (April 14-17; Friday – Monday) and paddle Saturday and Sunday near St. Simons Island on Postell and Village creeks. Both trips are easy 7-8 mile paddles on tidal waters and kayaks are recommended. Tent and RV camping is available at the campground – fees are $25 per night for tents and $45 for RVs, plus a daily $6 parking fee per vehicle. Note that spring break is that weekend so the campground will fill up early – call the campground at (912) 635-3021 to reserve a site.
