The annual Rescue Rodeo will be held Saturday, July 26 at Hiwassee Outfitters. This is a one-day course, taught on the Hiwassee River, designed to give new boaters some basic safety and rescue skills. Topics covered include basic first aid, boat reentry and recovery, wading techniques, using a throw rope, and whitewater swimming. Click here for more details.
