Gotta See TVCCers Catching Eddies During Broken Nose Clinic

Check awesome YouTube video created by Stacy showing a little carnage and a lot of fun as club members polished their skills.

Training continued for  TVCC paddle school Class IV students with a clinic on the Ocoee River this past weekend. Nine TVCC whitewater paddlers joined ACE Kayaking instructor Joe Gudger and two assistants at the Broken Nose Clinic/Contest organized by Stacy Stone (featured in above photo with Hunter Torbush, a support boater.   Three team, comprising three TVCC paddlers each, competed to see who could catch the most eddies during the clinic. Tony patterson was the individual top scorer and Team Diamond Splitter, with Terra, Tony, and Kim was the top team.

Thanks to all the participants and helpers who came out for TVCC’s Broken Nose clinic! Big shout out from Stacy to Joseph Alexander Gudger of ACE kayaking and his team for their stellar instruction. BG Smith, our judge, and the peanut gallery helped keep the clinic running smoothly.  Check out Ali Reddington’s Facebook page for lots more great photos.
