August 23 – Conasauga River Snorkling

Happy Hour – Conasauga River Snorkling

August 23 @ 10:00 AM2:00 PM

TVCC is organizing a guided snorkeling trip to the Conasauga River on August 23rd through the Cherokee National Forest Snorkeling Program. Streams in the Cherokee National Forest have an extraordinarily diverse assemblage of fish. In the clear waters of the snorkeling sites, it is typical to see 15 to 20 species of fish on any given day. The experience is like swimming in an aquarium full of fish. Turtles, tadpoles, and salamanders are all usually present. Environmental education is provided both streamside and in the water. Fish identification and habitat recognition are emphasized.

To sign up for the program, please contact Ali Reddington at allison.reddington@gmail.com or 865-621-2994. The first 24 participants to sign up will be accommodated. Payment will be due by August 7th.
